Mike,

Just a minor correction-- I assume you meant Vancouver Island, not
Victoria Island. The latter island is in Canada's Arctic archipelago,
well beyond the range of Rufous Hummingbirds!

Please keep the hummingbird reports coming. The progress of the spring
migration, and the variation in timing from year to year, is an
intriguing subject. Thanks for your efforts in starting this study and
keeping it going.

Cascadia Hummingbird Report - 03/14/2005

I think I'll let the list do the talking. Victoria Island and
the SW coast of British Columbia are now well represented. Reports
from the Coast Range and the western edge of the Cascades in Oregon.
We may well be hearing from Ketchikan, AK by next week's report.
