This is the northern Idaho / eastern Washington / northeastern Oregon bird

On 12 Mar, Gina Sheridan and Garrett McDonald located 2 TRUMPETER SWANS
along the shoreline of Calispell Lake, Pend Oreille Co., WA. DeLorme pg.
105, B-6.
On 13 Mar, 2 TRUMPETER SWANS were also located in a large flock of Tundra
Swans by Lisa Hardy in the flooded field next to River Road near Cataldo,
ID. Lisa also reported a BLUE JAY in the same area. To get there, take
I-90 exit 34 (Rose Lake), turn north to the T intersection and turn right
onto Canyon Road. Go 1.9 miles, turn right onto River Road. After crossing
the interstate, turn right (downhill) onto graveled River Road. River Road
runs south along the edge of the flooded fields that are west of Tamarack
Ridge. ID DeLorme pg. 60, B-3.

BLUE JAYS were also found in Pomeroy at the end of Elm Street by Mike and
MerryLynn Denny, in Genesee by Terry Gray, on Spokane's South hill by Joyce
Alonso, and in Viola, ID by Nancy Miller.

The CAPE MAY WARBLER, originally reported on 05 Feb, was still visiting the
feeders at the Sherrodd residence as of 09 Mar in Spokane Valley, Spokane
Co., WA. DeLorme pg. 89, C-7.

SANDHILL CRANES are being seen in large numbers near Othello, WA (flocks of
100's and 1000's), DeLorme pg. B-4. They are also being found regularly
along Drumheller (Moos) Rd., Spokane Co, WA. DeLorme pg. 72, A-2.
