We had a Chestnut-backed Chickadee sticking it's beak into the blossoms of a
Salmonberry near our front porch. It tried the "hover glean" approach when
it couldn't find a suitable perch. I guess some CBCH just have a sweet tooth
(or beak). I've seen Bushtits gathering nectar from Salmonberry but this is
a 1st for chickadees.
