My earlier post about the owl was in rich text and didn't get through, so I
switched to plain text this time. The boreal owl and saw whet owl were
present at Reifel today; many thanks for the previous posts. There were many
birders eager to point them out, so finding them should not be a problem;
they're right by the parking lot, so walking is minimal. The views today
were rather obscured by branches, but it was still a treat. Other highlights
included a peregrine, sandhill cranes, wood ducks, and numerous bald eagles,
all seen from the parking lot.
