juanita bay park is one of the hotspots, as would be union bay nature area
(montlake fill), the washington arboretum, marymoor park, and the beaches
from seacrest park to lincoln park (west seattle / alki)... i suppose it
depends on what your interests are... one hour in excellent traffic gets
you from seattle to everett, seattle to tacoma, seattle east almost to
snohomish pass :)

Subject: [Tweeters] visit to Seattle--info request

Hello,

I will be visiting Seattle this weekend and would like to go birding while
in the area. Can anyone give me information on local hotspots? I have
access to a car and would like to travel 1 hour or less from the city.
Thanks in advance for your help!!

Cheerio,
