Interested birders,
At this time, we have two remaining field trips to offer at the Wings Over
Water/Northwest Birding Festival at Blaine/Semiahmoo. Both trips are scheduled
for Saturday, April 2.
Blaine Marine Park/Drayton Harbor Loop.
9AM-3PM. Trip limit:10. Trip leader: Andrew Craig, 360-671-8427.
This trip starts with a walking tour of Marine Park and the inner harbor at
Blaine, and then completes the circuit of Drayton Harbor, all the way to the
Semiahmoo Spit.
Van trip to Birch Bay and Tennant Lake.
9AM-3PM. Trip limit:10. Trip leader/driver: Paul Woodcock, 360-380-3356.
This trip offers a variety of habitats ranging from the open waters of
Semiahmoo and Birch Bays to the wildlife areas at Tennant Lake and the Hovander
Homestead Park. The boardwalk at Tennant Lake will be a trip highlight.
Trips are FREE and open to enthusiastic birders. Space is limited so please
contact the respective trip leader for more info or to register.
