The Seattle Mountaineers are offering a natural history of the mountains
course, Starting May 17 and going until July 23rd. There are 4 presentations
which cover birds, plants, mammals, reptiles and amphibians and three field
excursions to places like Mt Rainier National Park, Leavenworth ect. Since
the text for the course is the book I co-authored, I will be co-teaching
this, I will be doing a plants and flowers of the Pacific Fir Zone lecture,
and will be the field naturalist on a couple of the trips. This course is
open to anyone (although if you are not a mountaineer is costs $25 more)
