Early this a.m. I found a tan-striped WHITE-THROATED SPARROW near the s.e.
corner of Discovery Park, specifically in the brushy area bordering the park
along the road that runs south from the main entrance. Here and around the
corner running west toward the south entrance there were a couple singing
Fox Sparrows and a calling Hermit Thrush also. On the south meadow, there
were at least two Savannah Sparrows singing on territory, not early but the
first I've had there this spring.
