Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday March 31. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

A possible EASTERN PHOEBE was reported March 25 at the pond along Hwy 20
west of Riley. The Coburg FALCATED DUCK and the Bend HAWK OWL continue to be
reported.

Noticeable migrants during the week were ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERSD and
ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOWS. CASPIAN TERNS were reported all along the coast. One
was along the Columbia River near Woodland March 23 and one was at McNary
Dam March 25.

On March 25 a LONG-BILLED CURLEW and a MARBLED GODWIT were at Yaquina Bay. A
SAY?S PHOEBE was at the Sandy River Delta east of Portland March 26. A
MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE was in West Linn March 30.

On March 27 four HARLEQUIN DUCKS were at the mouth of Eagle Creek near
Bonneville Dam. On March 28 four BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER, 17 GREATER
YELLOWLEGS, and over 100 DUNLIN were at Ankeny NWR. A SAY?S PHOEBE was seen
March 29 in North Eugene. On March 26 a LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE was north of the
Eugene Airport.

A CINNAMON TEAL and a large flock of WHITE-FRONTED GEESE were seen March 26
at Hatfield Lake near Bend.
