Our 4-member team spent Saturday finding birds and raising money for Whidbey
Audubon Society. Our team managed to locate 111 species this year. Nothing
out of the ordinary was found except a somewhat late Varied Thrush. The 8
Turkey Vultures over the Crockett's Lake are were a bit of a surprise as
well. Notable misses: Black-throated Gray Warbler, Western Tanager, Brandt's
Cormorant, Common Murre, Wood Duck. Here are the species in more or less
