Lots of migrants moving about.... here's a few highlights:
Genesee sewage ponds, Nez Perce Co ID... 27 Apr. Terry Gray reports 1 ROSS'S
GOOSE, 3 BLACK-NECKED STILTS, a breeding plumaged BONAPARTE'S GULL. On 30
Apr, another ROSS'S GOOSE was present. Terry reports one of the geese had a
blue neck band with "TA 8." On 1 May, a SNOW GOOSE was present as well. Take
Cow Creek Road east from US 95 at milepost 329.8 about 0.25 mile to the
pond. ID DeLorme 58, C-1.
On 1 May, Gina Sheridan reports 2 CLARK'S GREBES at Sprague Lake, Adams Co
WA, along with a BLACK TERN and a BONAPARTE'S GULL. Sprague Lake straddles
the Lincoln and Adams county line just south of I-90. WA DeLorme 71, BC-8.
At Philleo Lake, Gina reports an AMERICAN AVOCET, 2 BLACK TERNS, and 6
LESSER YELLOWLEGS. Philleo Lake is west of Spangle, Spokane Co WA. Head west
from US 195 on Jennings Road about 2 miles and bear left onto Philleo Lake
