Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report

The Cape Blanco EURASIAN COLLARED DOVE continues to be seen. Another was in
Frenchglen April 29.

On April 29 a RED KNOT was at the South Jetty of the Siuslaw River. A bright
YELLOW-BILLED LOON was seen April 28 flying past Boiler Bay. Over 10,000
SOOTY SHEARWATERS were there the next day. On April 29 a WILLET was at
Tillamook Bay. A LAPLAND LONGSPUR was at the Nehalem Sewage Ponds April 28.
A SAGE THRASHER and a GLAUCOUS GULL were there April 30. On May 1 a breeding
plumaged PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER was at Ledbetter Point, Washington. Another
was at a farm pond near Cornelius April 29.

A CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD was near Philomath April 28. On May 3 a CASSIN?S
FINCH was on top of Marys Peak in the Coast Range. Two BLACK TERNS were at
Fern Ridge Reservoir May 1. The Fords Pond TRICOLORED BLACKBIRD colony near
Sutherlin appears to have expanded to nearby Taylor Street Log Pond.

On April 28 two CHESTNUT-BACKED CHICKADEES were in Shevlin Park near Bend.
On April 30 a congregation of 14 SHORT-EARED OWLS was found south of
Pendleton.
