A male Costa's Hummingbird was at my feeder on 5/2. I
was about 6 feet away and above him on my deck. He
was there for about 15 minutes and I got great looks
at him but I haven't seen him since.

The bright purple iridescence in the late morning sun
on his head and throat was spectacular.
