Penny Koyama and I birded from Brady Loop Rd out to Tokeland, yesterday,
and, though we don't have much to add to other recent reports on
Tweeters, we did see a few additional things of interest. On Brady Loop
Rd, we saw a WESTERN KINGBIRD and a singing WESTERN WOOD-PEWEE, and
heard at least 3 SORA. At Bottle Beach, in among all the Dunlin and
Western Sandpipers, we found 6 RED KNOT. From the Westport fishing
boardwalk, we saw 75 or 80 BROWN PELICANS, about half of them standing
on a sandbar, and the other half resting on the rocks of the breakwater.
