I THINK I saw an Olive-sided Flycatcher in Federal Way
today. But it was at the outer range of my bins, so I
could not get enough diagnostic features to be sure
before it flew away.
One behavior I observed might give me a clue. I
watched it "Hack" up a pellet.
Questions:
Do OS Flycatchers cough up pellets of un-digestable
material? And would one be likely to be in Federal
Way this early?
