Subject: [Tweeters] Olive-sided Flycatcher - Query on fall Color Variation

Questioin:
Last fall, what I took to be a Olive-sided Flycatcher, passed through
(assumed fall migrant) in the company of another. I made the second to be
an Olive-sided Flycatcher with a very fresh plumage 'white shirt' beneath
the dark gray 'vest'. However, the first bird had a very ntense
'lemon-yellow shirt' beneath its dark gray 'vest'.
I would like to know if this yellow feathering is characteristic or
variant; and if characteristic, is it a fledgling of the year or what?
