Hello Tweeters,

Grace and Ollie Oliver, Paula Flores and I headed over to Grayland to look for the Northern Mockingbird after a great field trip for Jim Flynn's shorebird class for East Lake Washington Audubon Society on Saturday, May 7. We stopped at Beachcomber Deli (on 105, between Ewart Street and Jado Place and across from Vacation Cabin Rentals) at 6 PM and listened for the bird, which we located in a large conifer behind the second house (if you turned onto Jado Place from 105)on the north side of the street. The people who live in the first house kindly let us walk onto their driveway so that we could see the bird; they told us it had been there last year, too.
