Dear Tweeters,

If there is a birder willing to help out on Saturday's
North American Migration Count in Skagit County,
please e-mail me, or phone me at (360)826-3750. We
have one birder, Kurt Ranta, who is stuck doing his
area alone. Kurt's area is a good one, stretching from
Rockport southwards along the Sauk River to the
Darrington area, and including forests, riparian
areas, and some small lakes. The NAMC is an all-day
count, focussing on migrants. Anyone with any interest
in birding would be a great help--you would be another
pair of eyes to spot a bird, another pair of ears to
hear one, and another pair of hands to take a turn
holding the clipboard.

Yours truly,

Gary Bletsch

PS Yesterday at DeBay Slough near Mt Vernon were a
pair each of Blue-winged Teal and Bullock's Orioles,
plus two singing Yellow Warblers, a singing Warbling
Vireo, a singing Black-headed Grosbeak, and a small
flock of American Wigeon still holding on.

Yours truly,

Gary Bletsch
