Sightings for May 15

Two DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTS were seen at the N. end of Duck Lake in
Kelowna (JM).


Sightings for May 13

The annual gathering of WESTERN GREBES on Okanagan Lake off the Maude Roxby
Bird Sanctuary is underway with about 500 birds present on the 13th (CC,RT).
Also with them was a male WHITE-WINGED SCOTER and a pair of SURF SCOTERS
(CC,RT).
