Subject: [Tweeters] The Cheeseburger Bird

Dear Brett and Tweeters,

The Black-capped Chickadee can also be considered a
"Cheeseburger" bird. Some of the birds in Puget Sound
sing a 3-syllable song, while others sing a 2-syllable
more like the one I learned in New York as a kid.

Incidentally, my own daughter, when she was little,
decided that the Black-capped Chickadee's song went
"Scuuuuuse me!" I will always think of the polite
little chickadee, asking to be excused, when I hear
one sing.

Yours truly,

Gary Bletsch
