We were surprised yesterday by a brilliant visitor to our front yard,
who turned out to be a TOWNSAND'S WARBLER. We also saw the YELLOW
CROWNED SPARROW at our feeder in the evening. It was a wet and gray
day, we didn't see the hummingbirds again yet. I sure hope they stick
around and bring us some of the beautifully colored males, so that we
are sure of our identifications!
