Hi Tweeters!

For all of you birders and bird enthusiasts out there, I wanted to let you know about a unique volunteer opportunity at PAWS Wildlife Center in Lynnwood, Washington.

Every year PAWS Wildlife Center receives approximately 1,000 orphaned baby songbirds from areas throughout Washington state. From Ruby-crowned Kinglets to Steller's jays to Cedar Waxwings, interested volunteers come to feed, rehabilitate, and release birds back to the wild where they belong.

If you are interested in joining other wild bird lovers by volunteering once a week at PAWS this summer, apply online to be a Wildlife Bird Nursery Caretaker at http://www.paws.org/help/vol/ and I will contact you, or call (425) 787-2500 ext. 838 for a volunteer information packet.

Happy Birding!
