The Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Spokane Co WA GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE
continues to be seen. Relocated again on 7 Apr by Ron Dexter for the third
year in a row, the bird was seen on 1 May by Aaron Martin. The bird is
frequenting the Meadowwood Golf Course near the intersection of Valleyway
and Molter. It has been seen as far east as a half mile from the
intersection. WA DeLorme 88, C-8.

A BAND-TAILED PIGEON has been making regular appearances in Spokane Co WA.
Gina Sheridan reports seeing it on 15 May. It's been visiting the feeder of
Jim and Darlene Christensen most mornings between 6 and 8 am for almost a
week. They live at 12711 E Randall Road in NE Spokane Co. Park on the road
just outside the driveway and walk slowly up the drive until you see the
feeder on the left side of the drive. Call them at 509.238.4531 for more
instructions.

Ruth and Patrick Sullivan report a variety of interesting birds in eastern
WA on 7-9 May, including a male GREATER SCAUP at Sheep Lake in extreme
northwestern Whitman Co, 5 GREATER SCAUP at the Iowa Beef-Dodd ponds in
western Walla Walla Co, a CLARK'S GREBE at the Walla Walla River Delta in
western Walla Walla Co on 9 May, a GRAY FLYCATCHER in Washtucna, Adams Co,
on 7 May, a HERMIT THRUSH at the Davenport Cemetery on 6 May, and a single
female PURPLE FINCH at Washtucna.
