Hi Tweets,

Yesterday after work Fred Parent and I stopped by the Ballard public
access to see the Purple Martins. Several of them were perched by the
gords (thanks Kevin Li!) offering great looks. Afterwards we drove up
to Golden Gardens and from the north beach access we scoped a raft of
several Western Grebe. Among them was single CLARKS GREBE. The
surrounding Westerns provided great comparisons. And all the field
marks noted in both Sibley and Peterson were visible.

Following that we headed up to the trails above by the dog park and
heard two SWAINSON'S THRUSH. We also observed an Olive-sided
Flycatcher feed from a high perch in a forest opening.
