Hi Tweeters,

Western Tanager week! So lovely to see. One was
singing away in a tree across the cut. Had me
thinking of the Cascade slopes and hearing them on
territory.

No list today just some highlights (my full email went
to cyberspaceblackhole). Yellow Warbler came through.
Bushtits with short tailed fledglings. 2 Bald Eagle
flyovers, one adult, one immature. Great Blue Herons
still hanging out by the half dozen at the salmon
pond. Barn Swallow bringing nest material under the
dock.

I walk from Sakuma Viewpoint Park near Agua Verde
restaurant to the Montlake Bridge along Portage Bay
and the Montlake cut. Not too tough of a place to
work when I get to see such great birds and nice
scenery as well.
