Today, 5/21, at about 3 PM, I viewed a male breeding-plumage Rose-breasted
Grosbeak at a feeder at the home of Suzy Whittey, on the Long Beach
peninsula. Suzy has taken several fine photos of this bird, and has seen
the bird at least a dozen times today at her feeders. Four of us watched
this gorgeous bird for about 15 minutes this afternoon. Today was the
first day Suzy had noted this bird at her feeders.
