This morning I birded along Rock Candy Mountain Road in Thurston County. The birding was very good before the bikes and the rains came. Most notable were a few HERMIT WARBLERS and my first WILLOW FLYCATCHER of the year.

At 1:00 PM, the NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was in Grayland in Gray's Harbor County. Same location as reported previously.

It was a good day.
