Subject: [Tweeters] Sick crow, north of UW

Hi tweeters,
Among the many birds frequenting our feeders are a pair
of crows that share peanuts with the squirrels. One of the
crows has been hobbling aboutfavoring itsright foot. On
observation from ten feet, it looks OK, except that both legs
and feet look like they're covered with a light-colored scale.
It's not banded.
The bird often sits high in a snag being groomed by its partner.
Anything to be done about this?
