Just to be sure we all have this in perspective, you have a much higher
chance of dying from the flu than from west nile virus. And your odds are
way higher dying on the way to work in a car wreck. I personally waste
little thought about west nile having a possible affect on me but worry much
about its affects on bird life.

There has been at least one dead bird found in the state that tested
positive. The one I recall was a crow in the NE part of the state.

That was the impetus for me to start putting up more insect catching bird
and bat houses.
