May 13, 2005, Friday, 12:08 p.m. Yes, hello, this is Brad Waggoner at
(206) 780-9581 reporting from Point-No-Point. This morning there is a
HARRIS SPARROW in the area. I found it across from the parking area in
the, kind of a beachy area where the benches are, but it worked back and
forth from the lighthouse to this area. So, it was last there at noon
when I'm leaving. Also, there was one MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE and there are
many WESTERN CANADAs, BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAKS and even BULLOCK'S ORIOLES
in the area. So it's a neat morning at Point-No-Point. Thanks. Good
luck and good birding.

May 19, 2005, Thursday, 2:20 p.m. Hi, this is Steven Mlodinow. Today
Steve Pink and I had a GREAT EGRET just west of the Mark Clark Bridge.
This is as you're going from Stanwood to Camano Island. We also had a
BANK SWALLOW at English Boom, that's on the north side of Camano Island.
And, just around the edge of the Stanwood Sewage Ponds, had a HOUSE
WREN. There was a late MEW GULL at the end of Bow Road, and a
getting-to-be-a-little-bit-late GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at the Skagit
Game Range. That's it. Good luck and good birding.

May 19, 2005, Thursday, 5:03 p.m. This is Rachel Lawson, BirdBox system
administrator. I have a report from David Porter that there is a
WESTERN KINGBIRD in Bellevue at the Larson Lake Blueberry Farm. David
Porter's phone number is (907) 232-2716. That's all. Good birding.

May 23, 2005, Monday, 1:04 a.m. Hello, this is Mark Hopey (sp?). I can
be reached at 352-2887, 360 area code. This is a report of two LEAST
TERNS at Damon Point in Ocean Shores on the morning of May 22, 2005.
They were seen feeding at the mouth of the outlet creek at the lake.
They were later seen on the shore about 100 meters to the northeast
above that same outlet creek. It was an adult in breeding plumage and
another bird in non-breeding plumage adult, in non-breeding plumage.
The birds were also seen feeding at around 5:30 in the evening, and that
was the last time they were seen near shore on the bay side of Damon
Point, again Ocean Shores.
