Hi tweeters,

Jeff Duchin and I saw a badger alongside Smithson Rd. on Monday of this
week. I'd never seen one before, so I thought I ought to report it.
Otherwise, it was an excellent day for birding in EWA, as it usually is this
time of year. Many raptors were seen, including a soaring Ferruginous Hawk
and a Prairie Falcon being harassed by a Kestrel, all seen from Bettas Rd.
Many warblers and sparrows were singing from Stampede Pass to Huntzinger
Rd., as far east as we got on this trip.

Good birding, Alan Roedell Seattle roedell at speakeasy.net
