I'm off to Wenas tomorrow, prob won't arrive till
Friday. Next week will be eastside vacation time.
The only migrant around here this week has been Yellow
Warblers. The Great Blue Herons have thinned out. I
think the surviving young salmon have either moved on
or are in deeper water. Some that die float up. It
is fascinating to watch the crows course the bay
almost like Harriers looking for dead salmon. They dip
down and pick them up in their bill.
