Hello,

Ellen and I were stopped at the ferry parking area on the south side of the Keller Ferry 20 May. I heard a Gray Flycatcher singing. It was coming from the Bitterbrush habitat to the west of the parking area. The shrubs here are high for the species (~7-8 feet).

West of Molson on Nine Mile Grade Road below the Ponderosa Pine forest/shrub-steppe edge, we heard two singing Clay-colored Sparrows 22 May. The habitat by the road at that point is Wild Rose thickets, intermixed with native bunchgrasses. Uphill is Threetip Sagebrush with Idaho Fescue and Bluebunch Wheatgrass. Brewer's Sparrows were singing their heads off in that habitat.
