I guess summer is truly here . . . at least the last of my summer birds
arrived in the past two days: several Swainson's thrushes singing up a
storm the night before last and western tanager yesterday afternoon. The
black-headed grosbeaks have been challenging the robins (in song) for a
week or so. Nice to have everyone back.
