Got a very quick look at a Purple Martin around 09:40 in Moses Lake. It was along highway 17 just north of Nelson Road and the Grant County Fire District #5 facility. I pulled off and scanned the neighborhood trying to relocate it, but was unsuccessful. Probably a male, but shadows can be deceptive looking at a bird backlit against a blue sky.
