hi -on may 26 i saw 5 WHITE-FACED IBIS at the tyson plant water treatment pond-location:s. on hwy12 from pasco,turn left at dodd-iowa rd-to the now tyson plant~1/4 mile east on n. side of rd. ponds have ibis, 6-8 nesting am. avocets-i has a band on left leg-green, yellow + red;also nesting stilts-i saw 2 downy stilt chicks-numerous yellow-headed blackbirds + killdeers.in the''dodd-iowa '' ponds ~1/2 mile south are more avocets,wilson's phalaropes,2 male pheasants,numerous ducks +teals w/ young.on may 25, i saw afamily of GREAT HORNED OWLS-2 adults +2 downy fledglings at HOOD PARK- just s. of the amphitheatre in tall cottonwoods-the park is s. of the columbia river bridge on US12 s.e. of pasco. maxine reid, tulalip,wa mail to: baconmf at verizonmail.com
