Bill,

Great picture! That bird is one I banded as part of my dissertation research on physiological responses to urban breeding habitat. The bird in question is busily feeding a cowbird chick (who pushed all of her chicks out of the nest). If anyone sees my banded birds and would like to report them to me directly, please email me (fb2 at u.washington.edu).

May I have permission to use your picture for presentations of my work?

Best,
