Tweeters,
There is a young crow which has wandered about in mine and my neighbors back yard being quite unafraid of peoiple and lawn mowers. It begs when other crows fly over or appear in field of view although there do not seem to be any adults paying the bird any attention. It took worms and water offered by neighbor. It does not fly.
The head especially around one eye appears to have been injured in some way, showing redness and some bleeding.
The questions are, is there anything that can be done for the crow? Is there anyone who would like to take in a young crow, should there be concern about the possibility of West Nile virus in the crow?
