I am just writing to let you know that I finally
managed to get a little free time to interview Tim
Gallagher, the author of The Grail Bird. This
interview was suggested by Taryn Roeder from Houghton
Mifflin publishers who saw some of my blog essays
about the ivory-billed woodpecker the day the
announcement was made that it had been rediscovered. I
was not paid for this interview, but I was sent a free
copy of the book, which I have read twice already. The
