Maurie and others have commented on their enjoyable weekend at Wenas, a
gathering of nature lovers and naturalists for over 40 years. Since the
property is in uncertain hands, It is my hope that efforts to secure
conservation easements on this property succeed. It would truly be a
environmental disaster to have this landscape parcelled out for home
