Hey tweets,

I was down at the mouth of the Cedar River on Lake Washington (near the
Renton airport) on Wednesday afternoon. Only there for 5-10 minutes, but
had some quality birds. Saw my first Buffleheads of the year; Also
Ring-necked ducks, scaup (sp?), ruddy ducks, mallards, coots and common
mergansers. I'm awful with gulls, so about all I can say is most of them
down there were glaucous winged gulls. One lone Western Gull was perched on
a post near the river. A great blue heron was 30 feet away while I was
watching. Also a bald eagle and a dozen or so double crested cormorants not
far from shore.
