Hello Tweets,

Today was a lost day if you had in mind going looking for the Ivory Gull. Instead we stayed home and watched the birds on our feeders. This is the first time since spring that our Anna's Hummingbirds would perch close to the house, sitting and waiting.First I could not figure out why two males sitting opposite still and let me get petty close for photos.but I would find the answer as a female came to the feeder, the chasing got started as it ended one male was left perching again waiting his time for the female to showing up.So courting is beginning with this small creatures. It was hard raining and the male don't mind sitting there at least two hours. It was really nasty today with rain all day and high winds.
The photos I took today can be viewed at : http://www.pbase.com/godwit/november05photos/
