Today, Nov 5, we were able to relocate the birds Terry found on the Adams Co
end of Sprague Lake, except no yellowlegs. The Jaeger was on the water near
the county line (near the grebes). No Brant. Thanks Terry!

In the town of Sprague, Lincoln Co, were 2 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS & 3
BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS.

Good Birding,

Craig & Judy

Subject: [Tweeters] Long Lake - Sprague Lake

Finally, the late afternoon at Sprague Lake proved rewarding. On the Adams
end of the lake, there was one Snow Goose, 1 flock of about 5 Red breasted
Mergansers, and I (best I can tell) immature dark morph Parasitic Jaeger. I
got to see it very well as it flew back and forth right along the shoreline,
sitting from time to time, harassing Bonaparte Gulls, a large flock of
Western Grebes, and chasing up a Greater Yellowlegs from the shoreline. It
was fun.

Blessings,

Terry
