Hello All,
This morning Larry and Jaquie Goodhew located a basic plumaged Red-necked
Grebe and a female Surf Scoter on the same pond in a driving rain. These
birds are on the Stateline pond just 2.1 miles south of the city of College
Place along HWY 125 that runs south west out of Walla Walla and on into
Oregon. These are both rare birds in Walla Walla Co., but not new to the
area. Great finds to say the least. MerryLynn was able to photograph the
scoter.
