I had a scrub jay in my back yard for several hours on Saturday, October 22.
He was feeding at the regular bird food feeder.
I thought it was significant because I have only seen this species in Oregon
and California. I live east of Auburn. My book describes it's habitat as no
further north than the Columbia River. Has anyone else seen a scrub jay this
far north?
