I had a recent reliable report about an Emperor Goose mixed in with several thousand lesser Canada Geese near Mattawa. (This hunter also noted a snow goose and a white-front.) Orange legs and gray scaly back were noted in addition to the white head and back of neck. Anyone travelling near Vernita Bridge might want to spend a little time looking. I don't know if this flock roosts on the Hanford Reach, Saddle Mountain Lake, or Priest Rapids pool.
