A week ago Tom Herzig found a White-winged Scoter above the Bonneville Dam. I chased it today a saw it hanging loosely with a flock of Western Grebes. This can be viewed by scope from the small hill just above the dam itself. It is near the same area where the 2 Ancient Murrelets were hanging out. White-winged Scoters are tough to find in Skamania County, a code (5) bird.
