Hi, Tweets!

On BirdNote, the week of November 14, consider the Black Oystercatcher's
world, learn about the *eagle eye*, soar along with Red-tails, and
celebrate the "snowbird," the Dark-eyed Junco. Also, Trumpeter and Tundra
Swans return from the north.

You may be able to catch BirdNote *live* on KPLU-FM 88.5 at 8:58-9:00AM on
weekday mornings, or you can listen at any time our web site,
BirdNote.org. Available as a podcast, too! These tales incorporate songs
and calls provided by Cornell University and by other sound recordists.
Each is complemented by a photograph on our web site. All episodes are in
the archives, both in written transcript and mp3 format. (The web site now
carries archives for both KPLU and KOHO.)

Check out the week's schedule and see photographs here:

It's easy to listen on-line at any time.

BirdNote can now be heard on KOHO-FM 101.1 in North Central Washington. On
week days, BirdNote airs around 7:20AM, on Saturdays around 6:20AM, and on
Sundays at 7:20AM. Thanks to a generous grant from the Icicle Fund,
conservation organizations in the Wenatchee Valley are able to add a
tag-line to each episode, educating the listeners about their programs.

Got ideas? Please let us know what you think. We hope you'll tune in to
BirdNote, and let others know about it, too. Thank you.

Good birding!

Regards,

Ellen Blackstone
