Hello all birders,

We have placed many new photos onto our website of recent sightings including additional photos of the Temminck's Stint taken yesterday,as well as the cooperative Ruff too. We obtained some interesting interactive behavior photos of the ruff being pecked at by a single Long-billed Dowitcher that would have bee better captured by a video camera. he Ruff was just resting calmly between 2 Long-billed Dowitchers, but one bird decided it had to peck at the Ruff as it rested and it really didn't seem to mind all the attention. Eventually the Long-billed Dowitcher stopped and decided it wasn't getting any attention back! It was all quite amusing for us all to watch! In additional we have placed several new photos onto our November 05 gallery consisting of an immature Cooper's Hawk photographed atop a rooftop just north of the Ocean Shores Treatment Plant, the 2 Clark's Grebes(with Western Grebes)at Damon Point on the 9th of November,as well as 2 photos of Trumpeter Swans at the Bill Goeres Farm along Wenzel Slough Rd. near Satsop in eastern Grays Harbor Co.

Our updated November photos can be accessed at the following link: http://www.pbase.com/godwit/november05photos

and our latest Temminck's Stint photos, which can be accessed at the following link: http://www.pbase.com/godwit/temmincks_stint/

We hope you enjoy our latest photos and may more birders still get to see the Temminck's Stint and the Ruff at the Ocean Shores Sewage Treatment Plant,if they both continue!

Sincerely,

Ruth and Patrick Sullivan
