On 5 Nov Theresa Mathis and Cindy McCormack found a single PACIFIC LOON near
the west end of Lake Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai Co ID. Also around were at
least 8 BONAPARTE'S GULLS.

On 9 Nov an immature NORTHERN GOSHAWK was at Hell's Gate State Park in
Lewiston, Nez Perce Co ID according to Keith Carlson. Also in Lewiston was a
male EURASIAN WIGEON at the West Pond along the levee on 10 Nov. To get to
both locations from the north end of Lewiston, follow US 12 across the
Clearwater River and then stay right past the first traffic light. At the
next light, which is 18th Street, turn right and follow the bypass one mile
to the big levee pond, West Pond. To get to the state park, continue west on
the bypass until it ends at Snake River Avenue. Turn right onto Snake River
and follow it a couple miles south to the entrance of the state park. ID
DeLorme 54, A-1.

A LESSER GOLDFINCH was spotted in Walla Walla Co WA on 9 Nov. The male was
visiting feeders at a home along East Langdon Road ( house #151), according
to Mike and MerryLynn Denny.

A flock of 22 SNOW BUNTINGS flew over the Upper Columbia Academy campus in
Spangle, Spokane Co WA on 15 Nov according to Michael Woodruff.

Good birding.
